"First and
foremost I want to congratulate you for the work you have done in publishing
your French Bible software - and for the added development you have done
over the years. I first used your Bible software in 1992 when the program
was still in MS-DOS and delivered on three diskettes! Since then I have
been a fervent user.
Every day I do my devotions using your software and I prepare all of my sermons with it. Thanks to the variety of documents you have included (Bibles, Bible dictionaries, Bible notes, devotional material, commentaries…), I have a Bible reference library that is easy to use - and this in place of a multitude of Bibles and commentaries on my desk. My hope is to make this precious tool known to all the pastors in the city of Kinshasa...
The 21st century pastor needs to keep in step with the technology of
the times. The Bible says that before the end of all things man's
knowledge will increase. This has happened in our day. Many things have
been invented, electricity, trains, planes, communication systems, computers,
etc.
A pastor should put to use these innovations. This is why I say that he should be computer savvy, because these things play a big part in the lives of all men of our era and they are particularly useful to God's servants.

I am verry glad to hear about the project related to french Electronics tools. There is a big gap between the english tools published and the french tools availabe. It is a real need for Africa. It will be a real help for french speaker if they can access to the tools translated in French.
Now, I use some electronics tools in English, and I discover that I
can access easily to the data I need. It is possible for me because
I can
understand English as well French. But what about other French Speakers
that can only understand French? I appreciate a lot your project.

“Bible software is a "must" for all serious Bible students.
However, resources in French are few. It is strategically important
that these tools be developed in French.” Bible software is a
must for ministry. I cannot imagine preparing bible studies or sermons
without these tools. Here is why:
- It speeds up considerably
the search process of verses. When I remember a verse by its content,
I can quickly find its reference and quote it precisely.
- It allows for a
rapid overview of the use of a word, which yields valuable information
to understand its meaning.
- It displays multiple
versions facilitating comparison and understanding of a verse
- It offers parsing
keys sometimes helpful to decipher a difficult verbs or unusual words.
- It renders possible
complex searches with multiple variables.
- It provides secondary sources such as commentaries or chronological charts that help situate a text in its context.
